Klinik Mak
When things seems hopeless, we were introduced to Klinik Mak.
Klinik Mak is located in Serdang. We were told that Doctor Mak specialized in treating diabetes patient, and post amputation mess.
Per treatment cost us around RM200.00
It was claimable for 3 months from the date we admitted into the hospital. Our insurance company is Prudential. We were really grateful at the time, even if its pay first, claim later policy. We successfully claimed more than RM3k during the three months period.
It’s a story about how we dealt with amputation.
In year 2018, my father had an operation that changed his life.
It was ray amputation caused by diabetic. Does he deserve such cruel treatment?
It’s been three years, but it was still fresh and painful to tell the story.
The Story
1. It started with what we thought is gout
My father had painful foot for about 3 months. We thought it was gout. So was he. It gets better sometime, then really swollen other times.
2. Next, a fever

My father is top rank workaholics. He works 360 days a year, taking few days off on Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Puasa, only because suppliers are off.
3. When we got to the hospital
It was Saturday when we sent him to Assunta hospital. Guess what, doctors are not working on weekend.
The nurses let him on dripping for 36 hours till the doctor finally came into ward. There’s no medication throughout the days.
Then, it’s too late, the doctor said.
Sorry I would tell you more, but it’s still painful to talk about it.
4. Wound dressing & care

We were arranged to go back to Assunta for wound dressing.
Every time it is an awful visit.
Hours of waiting, improper trained nurses, and the depressing hospital atmosphere.

6. Klinik One Medic @ Puchong
Other times, we have our dressing done at Klinik One Medic. They charged reasonable, which is around RM25 per visit. The doctor said he gave us affordable price, so we won’t feel reluctant to visit. Regular dressing and cleaning helps the wound heels faster.

Along with my stroked grandma, the events got me into depression and hopeless days in darkness.
Even today, I feel nauseous looking at steak, or when I smell one. The wound looks exactly like the bloody slice.
I got myself into various activity to get my mind out of it.
Check out my other post of what I did to get myself busy, and peaceful.
