2. Travel time (6 – 7 hours from Kuala Lumpur)

About 5 hours drive, 2 hours ferry, depending on where you depart. I live in 16 Sierra, only 4 hours drive for us.

3:30am Depart

7:45am Arriving ( 4 hours and 15 minutes )

10am Boading (but you dont have to be there at 10am sharp)

10:30am Boarded
12pm Ferry ride. Arrived at Island (2 hours)

Ferry ride is 2 hours. Tips, if the boarding time is 10:00am, the ferry will arrive 10:30am. But that’s included in the 2 hours ferry ride)

10:30am Leaving island

10:45am Boarded

1:05pm Arrived at jetty (waited about 10 minutes for luggage)

7:30pm arriving 16 Sierra (6 hours and 15 minutes)

3. Room rate

my room is average rm230 per night, but if you find a buddy to share with you, that’s much affordable.

4. Cycling or ride

They do not check your license or ID, just ride responsibly and at your own risk. Bike rental rate is going at RM20/ hour, or RM80/day. We negotiate to get rm40/half day. Bicycle will be cheaper but I don’t know the price.

5. B&J Dive center

It also has a bar, people gather here at night. And it sells genuine coffee too.

6. Meals

average RM12 – RM20. At RM12 you get a fried rice, RM20 you may get a fish dish, and a plain rice.
