Groceries. There are six main groceries trip. Fruits, Kuih, 香烛店, Fireworks, Flowers, regular groceries.

2. Sugar Cane

I started a day earlier, that is on the 7th Day of CNY.

I grab the fattest and tallest cane I could lay my eyes on. And stuff it into my car.

Any car would be find. the sugar cane seller will think of a way to let you transport it home safely.

The story goes during the war, the Hokkien people in China escaped into a forest of sugar cane, they managed to survive the brutal and blood thirsty Japanese. To express their gratitude from then on, they pray with sugar cane on the ninth day of Chinese New Year.
