Yoga can be a valuable tool for weight loss, although its effectiveness depends on various factors including intensity, frequency, and consistency of practice, alongside a balanced diet and other lifestyle factors.
While yoga might not burn calories at the same rate as high-intensity cardio workouts, it offers unique benefits that contribute to weight loss and overall well-being.
After high intensity workout, we often encounter muscle sore and discourage to work out the next day. Yoga is a more passive and I find myself able to go onto the mat everyday.
(C) Yoga & Meditation
In many branches of yoga, meditation is the main purpose of the whole routine.
Through gentle yoga poses and guided meditation, we can alleviate discomfort, reduce stress, and cultivate a sense of calm and centeredness amidst the whirlwind of being alive.
Let’s not forget the breathing exercises – they’re a game-changer, especially when I feel like I’m about to lose my cool.

Yoga emphasizes fluid movements coordinated with breath, promoting relaxation and mindfulness while building strength and flexibility. In contrast, mat Pilates concentrates on controlled, precise movements that target specific muscle groups, aiming to improve core strength, posture, and overall body awareness.
A half-half yoga and mat pilates harvest the goodness of both workout, it’s especially nice for those who don’t sweat easily.
